Bioinspired Fluid-Structure Interaction Laboratory

Aerospace Engineering, University of Birmingham

A warm welcome to the Bioinspired Fluid-Structure Interaction Laboratory, led by Dr. Chandan Bose, Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Birmingham. Our lab specializes in investigating complex multi-physics problems characterized by coupled nonlinear interactions, with a primary focus on bio-inspired fluid-structure interactions. We delve into unsteady aerodynamics and nonlinear aeroelasticity, drawing inspiration from nature to uncover the fundamental mechanisms driving these phenomena. Through this bio-inspired approach, our research aims to contribute to groundbreaking advancements in aerospace engineering and related disciplines.
